Hi Carrie,
I just found your blog in which you mentioned hearing the song “Japanese Bowls” in Garrison Keillor’s show. I love that song too and I did a little research. It turns out that it was originally sung by Peter Mayer. The sentiments expressed in this song express very well the Japanese Zen aesthetics of “wabi sabi.
